2013–2016 The mule & Evolink
Leo Kokkonen started Pole because no production bike offered the geometry he wanted to ride: slacker and longer, and more stable at speed.
The Evolink followed in 2016 with a 64.5° head angle and 77.5° seat tube angle.
2017–2018 Machine & the carbon decision
After years of rejecting carbon fibre, Leo figured out how to machine and bond a hollow aluminium frame. The process had to be invented.
2018 Stamina
A gravity-enduro platform designed from scratch in under six weeks.
2019 Pole Enduro Race Team
Leigh Johnson and Joe Nation race the Stamina in the Enduro World Series, with Matti Lehikoinen as team manager. Leigh finishes 12th overall, with two top-ten race results.
2021 Voima
Our first e-MTB, launched during a global component shortage. It sold more in two weeks than the entire previous year.
2022 E-enduro
Leigh Johnson finishes fifth overall in the EWS-E season on the Voima, with third place at the Tweed Valley opener. Pole Enduro Race Team finishes third in the season's team standings.
2023 E-enduro and downhill World Cups
Pole Factory Racing competes in E-EDR on the Voima. Onni Rainio races for Pole in World Cup downhill.
Onni & Sonni
Modular frame architecture: one platform, four configurations.
2024 The downhill team
Onni Rainio and Dan Slack form the downhill lineup under Phil Seton. The team continues as Seton Tuning before the World Cup season starts.
2024 Reset
The industry downturn hit. We restructured and refocused on one question: how to make the right bike for each rider.
2026 Hiisi
The Hiisi is built to order. We work through the fit and components with each rider.

Leo Kokkonen
Leo designs the frame and suspension, checks the structure with FEA and tests the bike on the trail. He also designed the Evolink, Machine and Onni.
