# Pole Bicycles: Hiisi

> The Hiisi is a bespoke, full-power e-MTB. We CNC-machine every frame part from solid 7075-T6 aluminium and bond them with no welds, then build each bike to order in Jyväskylä, Finland, around one rider's measurements.

Pole Bicycles (Business ID 3444291-5, VAT FI34442915) has built bikes in Jyväskylä since 2013. Founder and lead engineer: Leo Kokkonen. One engineer draws the geometry, the kinematics and the frame structure for every model.

## What the Hiisi is

- Full-power e-MTB, built to order. We group confirmed orders into production batches. There is no finished-bike stock.
- One frame platform covers 152 to 200 mm of rear travel and 160 to 200 mm of front travel. Swap the shock, the fork internals and the geometry hardware, and the same frame goes from trail to downhill.
- Frame material: 7075-T6 aluminium, CNC-machined and structurally bonded. No welds, so nothing warps. Machined to plus or minus 0.05 mm.
- Motor: Maxon Air S. 90 Nm, 620 W peak, 2.0 kg. Battery 400 to 850 Wh with a range extender.
- Sizes: K1, K2, K3, covering riders roughly 157 to 198 cm. The size defines the frame envelope. Final fit and geometry are set from the rider's measurements, riding position and terrain.
- Finishes: three in-house e-coats, Raw Silver, True Gold, Hero Bronze. No paint.

## Key geometry (full 29-inch, measured at 35% sag)

- Head angle: 63.5 to 64 degrees depending on travel. 62.7 degrees at 200 mm.
- Seat angle: 80 degrees full 29-inch, 79 degrees mullet and 200 mm.
- Reach: 445 mm (K1), 475 mm (K2), 505 mm (K3) on the 173 mm full-29 config.
- Stack: 631 mm. Chainstay: 448 to 452 mm. Wheelbase: 1234 to 1302 mm.

## Prices and buying

- Complete build: from 11,537 EUR ex VAT (14,479 EUR incl. 25.5% Finnish VAT).
- Frameset: from 7,964 EUR ex VAT (9,995 EUR incl. 25.5% Finnish VAT).
- VAT is set by the customer's country at checkout. Outside the EU, prices are shown VAT-free and local import duties apply.
- It starts with a conversation. The customer pays 50% when the specification is approved and production begins. The balance is due when the bike is ready to ship.
- Lead time: custom builds ship about 2 months from order. Some are faster when the parts are on the shelf or a compatible build is already in a scheduled production batch.
